fastest way to warp rotors
I was gonna say any day a Toyota burns is a good day, but that doesn't look like it did much damage.
What is it with Corvette people? Long time ago I saw where some Corvette club or other smashed a 911 with sledgehammers and stuffed it into a dumpster.
TX2K is full of shenanigans. This guy went last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNG7cHeH7DM#t=89

this.
He cooked Rotors, Calipers, pads, lines, and probably bearings.. not to mention the tyres and I would probably never trust those rims again due to heat cycling.
The Coolant puke was a nice touch too
that's why drum brakes on the rear are better- you can either adjust them out so they don't do anything or never adjust them so they don't do anything..
so awesome, Bro! The way all those stickers on the back window are diagonal means that car is hella fresh.
if I am honest.. if I had a powerful car and worn out tyres.. and was 20 again.. I would be tempted to do the same

you don't even need a powerful car... just need the tires to break traction for a moment..

I'd have tried too when young and dumb, but luckily I only had 39hp at 20 years old (Hillman Imp)
I'm not going to pretend I didn't love that. Heck, I think half the fun of watching drag racing is watching the burnouts. Also, I think glowing brake rotors are pretty neat if you couldn't tell from my avatar.
I was rather surprised at how long it took to get the rotor glowing. Says a lot about how good that braking system is at absorbing and dissipating heat.
The guy had the tires to tear up and wanted to show off his horsepowers. Line lock will help, but I'm sure he's figured that out now. He isn't spending your money to replace his brakes. Enjoy the show.
