Congrats! Mazda really nailed the soul red color. It looks amazing in all light conditions.

Yeah, the color is great. I usually go for grey and silver on cars but once I saw soul red in person, I had to have it.
My preferred color choice for the Civic Sport was Aegean Blue.
Congrats! I'm an unabashed Mazda fanboi, so glad to see you went with the 3.
I think at this point, between my current '18 Mazda 3 and my ex, there have been 2 Mazda 3s, a Mazda 6 GT, and 3 Miata's.
Between the wife and I, we've had several Mazda's and they have all been great. 2021 Mazda3, 2008 Mazda3, 2004 Mazda3, 2002 Miata and 2000 Protege (x2).
Quick update, just rolled over 1,000 miles yesterday with no issues to report. I'm even happier with the car now than I was when I picked it up. Last fill-up averaged 36.2mpg which I'm very happy with.
The Soul Red Crystal Metallic is spectacular. It's a very interesting color in that when it is not in the "right" light, it's a nice but fairly subdued color. But when the light and your viewing angle line up, OMG, it is amazing. I have been eyeing that as the new color for my burgundy - sorry, Maraschino Red - 944 whose paint is well, well past it's prime. I'm now fixated on that color and see them regardless of what else is around.
Congrats!

Completely agree with you about the color. It looks very different depending on the light. 100% the best color in the Mazda lineup right now.
Mazda needs to formulate a blue that has a similar effect to Soul Red due to variances in light.
Nice buy, OP ... very sweet looking car.
