I almost don't see this as terrible. At least with my experience, I've had to throw mine into a corner/clover/whatever at WAY above legal/safe speeds to get the thing to THINK about stepping the ass out on me. A little more rotation in the back from garbage tires sounds like a poor mans RSB to me.

well, I do have a MASSIVE front roll bar, bought in anticipation of D-stock autocross (before I got the Miata, anyway) and the same Nexen tires, so I'm not too surprised at that

off to tire rack to look for space-saver spare rims with a 4x100 fitment, and the narrowest non-spare tires I can cram onto them. And a water hose. And a big parkinglot.
