Per,

I have to say that your article put my mind at ease about my wife and my's potential first home. If all works out it will not have the most amazing space to work on vehicles, but as you pointed out, the commitment to doing is far more important that if you had a 'nice place to work.' I've been stressing about this because I really wanted something that was 'ideal'. That is, big flat driveway with a 2 car garage and space for hopefully someday my own separate workspace. Instead it looks like I'm destined for a short driveway with a 2 car garage up an incline with no space for a second worksite. Oh well, if I can get the project into the garage in my mind I'll be 99% done since as I see it, the wrenching, restoring, bodywork, painting, etc is the fun part.

As I don't yet have kids either but plan on it in the near future, it was nice to be reminded there's more to life than worrying about how nice my space is but rather how you use it and pass on your passion...

Thanks,

Jeff
