Also, how much are you guys looking to spend civics? I am finding early 93-96 civics for 8-900. Looking at completed listings on eBay, these may be good buys. What do you think?

Hondas can have excellent flipping potential but a lot of them you will look at are totally shagged. Nice ones bring good money, but many in that 800-900 range will burn oil, be rusty, need timing belts, have a bazillion dents, questionable modifications, etc. That said, there are workable examples out there, but Honda buy-in is often too high, even for beat ones; selling $200 Saturns for $1000 is more profitable than selling $800 Civics for $1300.

Also don't forget that eBay takes a pretty big cut on car sales, which will eat into your profits.

Is it still $125?

What cars do you generally look for? I am trying to cater to the cheap appliance commuter crowd by getting civics and corrolas.

honda's, toy's, nissans are all good choices for what you are looking for. i know people will hate me for saying this but try to stay with autos they appeal to a much wider customer base. just try to buy the cleanest base models you can for the money you have to spend. if you buy cars with problems buy them with problems you can handle or like to handle, if you like working on engines look at one with engine problems if you like bodywork buy them and so on
