I need to get rid of cars, not add more. I shouldn't ever look at craigslist.
This is slow, ugly, has zero sporting intentions and yet somehow I found myself going to look at it today and if I knew I could trust it to make Vegas I'd have traded my CV sport on the spot for it. I think I may be damaged.
Half the fun is not knowing if you're going to make it to Vegas. Besides, you could pick up a fare to help pay for gas. 
Checkers are awesome. They're so purpose built. Makes me wish they were still around. 
Just do it. Nothing wrong with a Checker!

If I were a participant in the banger rally I'd be on it like a fat kid on cake. But as the dubiously credited guy in charge I need to have a car that will make it. That hairbrained idea also hinges on a quick sale or trade of the Crown Vic.

Because Checkers are awesome, that's why. Not everything needs sporting intentions. In some ways the Checker is more honest and focused than something like a Maxima that tries to be a "4 door sports car" and fails.
If you need a co-driver, I'll fly out and drive it back to Vegas with you. More so if has a 3-on-the-tree.

Got hit with another purchase opportunity last night, when I'm not ready for any purchases right now so the Checker will probably have to be a pass sadly as I definitely can't buy both and the other one is more of a planned purchase although I had planned it for another year or two down the road.
Of course if anyone wants to buy my Yugo, RV, Colony Park or Crown Vic LX Sport, maybe I can swing 'em both (CV not available until mid-july)

Actually chatting with my pops last night it seemed my great aunt drove one of these until she was 97, I didn't recall that immediately but that probably corrupted my brain early on.
