I like a thumbs down and sad look. I’m not mad, just disappointed :(
I drive 2 lane roads a lot. Up and down and left/right 2 lane roads. Anytime someone is on my side of the line, they get a large horn blast. If they are on the line, they get a little horn toot. I judge the general sanity levels of the day by the number of horn incidents the day required on the drive to work. 0-1, relatively moderate. 5-8, things are getting weird.

The one I drive daily does have a yield sign and slightly different. Variation of yours. Both lanes do get used from left turn traffic so stopping is necessary then. And then there are those coming from straight across that is only one lane that goes to the left lane so right turn traffic can merge but immediately head to the right lane when it starts. Sort of understand their concept but does interfere with merging traffic and can be dangerous. Seen a few accidents and close calls there. That's why I always slow down enough to make sure they're not going to cut me off heading to the right lane. Sometimes does mean a quick stop and go but the peace of mind justifies it to me. Can't really blame North Alabama drivers as most of us are transplants from other parts of the country, including me. Agree with yours that no reason to stop, slow down isn't a bad idea though.

After the three cars in front of me ran the big, giant, 2-post stop sign in Anniston, Alabama, I stopped at it. I immediately heard a horn blast. As I looked in the rear-view while pulling out, the cop behind me was also running the stop sign.

Does that include West Palm Beach ?
Absolutely, seems to get worse the farther south you go.
It's calming a bit now as the blue hair snowbirds return to the North for the summer. Once Memorial Day gets here horn noise will be much less for the rest of the summer.

I cannot BELIEVE how often I see this every day. And you’d think they’d be on their phone but roughly 99% of them aren’t. And no, it’s not “little women who don’t know where to put their ginormous Yukon Denali XL.” It’s vehicles large and small and drivers of all stripes.
So infuriating.
