The local dealers are having a show at the mall. It was kind of in the way for regular shopping purposes, but I did get to sit in a few different things. Also car shopping for SWMBO and it got her to open up to new options.
For her, she likes the new Civic and really likes the HR-V in addition to Accords.
I missed the chance to sit in two cars due to lines for them, the '16 Camaro and, regretfully an ND Miata.
Biggest disappointment was the CX-3, it felt cheap and cramped. I liked the Mustang and the F-150(XL, standard cab, short bed, 4x4, 2.7 Eco please)
In the end I enjoyed it, but SWMBO was getting impatient with me.

They don't usually have a "car show" per se, but our local mall usually has a few parked around inside. They are always unattended and locked tight except for the Tesla.
Around the holidays, there was a red Alfa 4C sitting there. Last time I went they had switched it for a yellow 4C Spyder (or whatever they call the soft targa top).
I found car shopping best at CarMax. Tons of variety, the sales people don't pressure you; Sunday
morning seems the best time. My experience, anyway.
they have that at the local mall all the time. Not only does the local Chevy dealer have them all over inside, but they are parked outside on the sidewalks as well.
While I admit it is nice to look at the cars without a salesman trying to hard sell you, I am getting pretty tired of seeing them when shopping
