Can somebody explain to me what's going on here? Is this some sort of an old-school trick? Experience has taught me that these guys are anything but dumb. Shortages drive extreme resourcefulness. These are Venezuelans but you see Cubans doing the same thing. How does this even work?
Maybe one is jetted for some alternative fuel.
Just switch fuel off to whatever the other one is if you want to run the alternative.
As long as the throttle and choke are wide open on the bottom carburetor, it would just be a pass through.
Not the most efficient but it would certainly work.
Probably run to temp on gasoline, then switch to kerosene or diesel or whatever once the engine is hot.
