Cavaliers/Cobalts: I like the cobalt, I almost bought a turbo 4 door SS when they first came out. I think it was at least a decent car. However, for some reason, the Cavalier/Cobalt is the only car on the market that sells new to hard-core white trash. Not every Cobalt owner is white trash, not even most, but if somebody just made a bundle selling meth and needs to trade in a beat automatic V6 Camaro they are going to get a new Cobalt. I don't know why. I never noticed this with the Focus or Neon. It remains to be seen if the Cruze will pick up the white trash torch.
What is someone who bought a used Cavalier?
Not long ago I had a Miata and a Subaru wagon. Nobody knew if I was a gay man or gay woman.
'08 Mustang GT, a few mods - A mullet wearing redneck with a trailer full of old Schlitz cans.
'06 MINI Cooper S - umm, not entirely sure.... but the neighbors are not sure what to think about it and the Mustang both....

Well given they match they might be starting to question somethings...

I don't think it says much, at one point they were one of the best deals on the used market. I'm just saying that, for some reason, when the people of Wal-mart were in the market for a new car, they chose a j-body. I imagine it had more to do with marketing/financing/dealer locations/long-term brand-loyalties than with the car itself.

Lucky for you I have a spare red one and I can quickly put stripes on it if you want.
I haven't thought about how others might stereotype me based on my car in ages.
Daily is a '72 Beetle.
I usually just figure most people would call me an shiny happy person, what with the loud exhaust, classic change-lanes-with-the-crosswind nature of old Beetles, and the fact that its zippier than they expect it to be.

Gay architect?
Actually, gay graphic designer. Architects quit liking SAABs when they replaced the 900 with the 9000.
Alright... someone grade me:
1988 MX6 GT Turbo
1990 MX6 GT Turbo
1993 Ford Escort GT with.... lots of motor. (Currently broken motor, but still)
1993 Miata (soon to have MX6 GT motor)
2000 Jeep Cherokee
2004 Mazdaspeed Miata
What i'm guessing is that i'm a really cheap and raunchy "bear."

WRX: someone shiny and/or happy
There are two students at my school with WRXs.
1.) Parents bought his WRX for him new 36 days ago (I've been counting) and has so far received five tickets over the course of three "interviews" with NJs finest, the most significant of which was 91 in a 55 and was accompanied by an unsafe lane change ticket. He is awaiting trial but his dad is a lawyer so we'll see how it goes.
2.) Got his WRX STi about a year and half ago. His parents actually didn't buy it for him but I strongly suspect he is a big time drug dealer/distrubutor and that is where he got the money from. So far he has received 8 tickets but used the defensive driving program and the driver improvement program to (try to) keep his lisence. At one point recently, I believe his lisence was suspended for a brief period of time just before the anniversary of his first ticket (3 points are annulled per year in NJ). Currently, he is one point away from losing his lisence. I should mention he has an Escort 9500ix radar detector and still received 8 tickets.
'90 Miata Track Rat - Homo who likes to drive fast.
'06 Miata DD - Hey that homo forgot his scarf.
I'm OK with it.

Duke I'm sorry but I corrected this for you. :)
Civic Si Sedan - I'm a boring late 20s IT a-hole with a new family who is still trying to be cool but hates himself for selling off his muscle cars. Enjoys the MPGs however.
2001 Accord Sedan - Beige on Tan - Boring person who either hates life or is a horrible driver and it has turned into a demolition derby mobile. Grandma who thinks its a full sized Oldsmobile but can't read without a telescope.

1996 GMC Sonoma and I'm invisible.
1990 Civic and I get a few looks but no one has any interest is "racing" me.
1986 Prelude and, if anyone notices, it's because they appreciate an old Honduh or are surprised its' even on the road.
I hope nothing changes after I plastidip both the rice-mobiles because their looks can only improve exponentially.
Mk.2 Golf: either a ricer street racer wannabe, or a stancetard wannabe that hasn't saved up enough money to get the work done yet.
Is there a Corrado stereotype? (other than VW guys saying, "Hey, he's got it running this weekend!") There was a thing about 5yrs ago where every last gen Grand Am with a 6 wanted to race me. Seems they'd see the VW logo and think, "Finally, somebody I can beat!"

Everyone I've ever known who drove a Corrado has been a cool motherberkeleyer. No joke.
