I'm bummed I didn't know this was going on recently, especially when I learned of the turnout

Wonder how they managed it.

that's insane. i only think i've been somewhere with 2500 cars at once, and i didn't see half before i got sick of walking.

East Tennessee is a strange place

I was there in April during Fiats on the Dragon, a group of us stopped there before departing for home. The local Fiat dealer made sure we had a section, probably 30+. It was an AMAZING event, not sure I even got to see them all. The variety...high end Porsche and Ferrari, MK1 MR2, everything in between.

And I finally got to sit in an Alfa Romeo 4C someone brought to the Fiat event.

It has grown exponentially every event. I was out of town for the 4000 car turn-out but the previous event in July had almost 3000 cars and you had to be there before 730am on a Sunday to get a decent parking spot. Westown is a very large mall and the cars on display had to wrap 3/4 around the place. And just about every car and type of car you imagine. My '03 Spyder was probably one of the rarest cars there. Unfortunately this event will probably be crushed by its popularity.
