My Forester has attracted exactly zero women. It seems to attract Subaru Fanboys, though.

I was driving this around for a few years and got lots of attention from the ladies. Incredibly, this picture was taken seconds before the car was destroyed in a head on collision with a big rig. The most ironic part; is seconds after the accident a bus full of supermodels drove by in the opposite lane...
My Vette was definitely chic repellant. I bought it to autocross, do track days, etc. Sure I hoped it would help, but it didn't. I was 29 when I got it and 35 when I sold it. I did get an interesting 'split' in opinions when it came up in conversation with the ladies. Reactions were something like this:
Woman under 30: "A Corvette? Ewwww. My uncle Harry has one, he's weird. Why didn't you buy something cool like a Honda?"
Woman over 30: "Corvette? (rolls eyes) What a boy-toy. Grow up and get a BMW."
Vette in question

I'd want one completely blacked out w/. black 18's and on airride. No berkeleys given about creepiness.
My 99 Civic Si got some attention from young ladies 10+ years ago. Now, I'm a 41 y/o in a little toy car, so no attention anymore--although they still like the color (electron blue pearl)
Not cars that I had, but a faded teal willys pickup got quite a bit of attention. And this too:
Two I can think of that had the exact opposite effect were my old milano, and maserati biturbos haha. Women do not seem to like either one of those one bit.
girls seemed to really like my 350z when i had it. I think they wanted one themselves. Of course i guess this would be unsurprising but i figured since girls hated corvettes like said above i might as well post it.
Well, I can tell you my 2 current cars are chick repellants. Forester and MR2.
The best one I ever had was my Ice Blue 65 mustang. I would have all types of women ask me for rides in it. I couldn't go to a cruise night without getting at least one request. My 85 mustang did pretty good back in the day too.
6.2 and in that photo well over 220.
I can't race a GT6 with a rollcage/race seat which is why I race a FIAT ;)
When I autox'd the GT6 I had to remove the seat pad so the helmet clears.
BUY a GT6 and enjoy life (bohaaaaa)
alex wrote: Okay, weird question, but...how big are you? I recently read that GT6s are basically a no-go for anybody over 6'/180#, and I'm a bit north of both of those measurements. But you look like a kinda big dude yourself, and if so, you give me hope, since I'd love a GT6 someday.

So basically, unless it is a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, Italian cars are a big no?

No, there is plenty of Alfa love out there, just not boxy sedan Alfas

Travis, did you somehow get the Golf COuntry suspension under there?
bravenrace wrote:Max_Archer wrote: My Mazda2 actually gets a fair amount of attention of that sort. I guess it gives off a "nothing to compensate for" vibe. That's funny! You were kidding, right?
Nope, it's the only car I've ever owned where attractive young women will come up to me in parking lots and start conversations about it.

That is my friends car, not mine, but it's just passat springs and mk3 and passat suspension parts with a little custom work. His website is www.frankenbuilt.com

HAHA. Probably.
But then again Civics, British cars with more rust then metal and Yugos don't seem like the kind of cars that appeal to women.
I had a '70 Formula 400 with Hooker side pipes that got a lot of attention at lunch time when I worked the ground crew at an all girls school.
My Mustang seems to get a little attention, not a lot though. VFR seems to but it's pretty weak and I get more "why didn't you buy a Harley?" at which point I probably adopt a fairly negative facial expression.
And brown Olds Intrigues do not get any attention, at all, ever.

My friend had a MR2 is girls kept telling him it was "cute" which for them means that they like it usually.
I didn't find that he was repelling women with it, lol. But his was in like new condition.
paranoid_android74 wrote: An MG Midget. The old one I had, not this one. "OMG, what is that? It's soooooooo cuuuuuuute!"
I'll vouch for the MG Midget getting the lasses' attention. My almost-three year-old daughter LOVES it!
Highly-Effective-type females in Acuras and Lexus RXes rarely even look, but it sure is a hit with the toddlers.
Fiat X1/9. Only car I've had a girl shout me her number because she liked the car so much.
The M Coupe got positive female attention, but that was not too surprising.
Zombie thread resurrection.
Any motorcycle. Seriously, two wheels and an engine and women came out of the woodwork to ride.
Convertibles. My Miata seems to be loved by everyone, small children, men, women, everyone loves a Miata
