THIS was a huge part of my childhood, along with Hot Wheels, my bicycle, Kiss and Star Wars. But I absolutely loved this magazine, even the crappy iron-on's that just kind of bled ink onto a tshirt. (Thanks for trying, mom!).

I saw a friend post something on Facebook right before I went to bed. I NEED to check this out later today.
Kiss, Star Wars? I got my first issue on the way back from watching Ronnie Sox and Malcolm Durham at Englishtown.

I would have been mid-70s I think. The local vintage toy store has a 1970 issue for $10 I think, might have to get that.
Would this be appropriate for a 10 year old? My 10 year old son loves Ratfink, and I was thinking he may like this as well.

If they haven't changed anything drastically, I read the original magazine about that age. Definitely helped fuel my interest in car-stuff.

"Unc" and the whatever the hell the kids (varmits?) were, was a favourite of mine! And yes, please, mucho Ratfink and T handles shifters up through the roof!
Wow cool! I missed out the first time around (too young) didn't know about it until a couple years ago when a buddy gave me a couple old issues.
But Roth and all the others have definitely left their mark on my style!
It came back in the early 90's also for a while. I picked the first two issues up from meijer and I am loving it. I have my dads issues from the 60's as well!
