A few of the cars at today's meet......had to include my Challenge Miata.....
I'll have to bring down the SVX once I get the power steering functional. Is this a regularly occuring meet?

That location was Zingermans Roadhouse it looks in the picture. Can't help with time.
Third Saturday of the month at Zingerman's Roadhouse in the Westgate Plaza, right off Jackson Road. There are exits off I-94 for Jackson Road. Event is officially 7:30-9:00, but the Porsches all show up early to get the front row.

I talked to that guy briefly. He also owns some sort of rear engine kit car with a Vette engine. I've forgotten the name already.

Thank you. I can wander around pretty well, but my feet are sore the rest of the day.
Other cars I didn't get pictures of:
-three older 911s
-an Austin A30 or 35
-a couple of MGB-GTs
-a Mitsubishi Kei van (guy uses it around Ann Arbor regularly)
-a nice NA Miata painted in a dark gray
-a patinaed International Traveall
The paint job on that A35 makes it look like an old Rolls caught in a funhouse mirror. That VW pickup, on the other hand, nice ...
Very cool and thanks for sharing. Personally, I like these events. It’s an excuse to get the car out of the garage and an opportunity to check out some local machines. I plan to attend the one in Sanford, Florida, early next month.

I like going for the unusual stuff. There are always scads of Porsches, Corvettes, BMWs etc, but the real interest is in something different. There was a guy a couple of months ago with a Passat that he had lopped the roof off of and entered the Chop Top Challenge. Most folks just shook their heads... I enjoyed a long talk with guy.
