What he said. When I was following outlaw 10.5 the turbo guys used to dump wherever was closest on the body. Most of them in the front fenders or hood.

Looks like i may have a leg to stand on, then. The event organizer has no problem with it, and if NHRA has no problems with it, then it sounds like i'm good to go.
Update: Seems that this in fact a rule put in place by the Miami Valley Sports Car Club, which is putting on the autocross portion of the competition.
Hrmmmm... the more i think about this, running a new exhaust is going to open up a pretty big can of worms. If i'm not allowed to compete with the MX6 as it sits for now, i'm probably going to go ahead and let them toss me into the Top Gun class with the Celica against some twin turbo Vettes and race ready Evos on slicks.
