Where do you roast the pig on the way to the party? I have used the rear trunk in my car as an oven multiple times. It needs that space. Two hour drive makes great ribs.

Those lines are where I would cut the outer body sheet metal. The below photo is where you could maybe cut the inner engine compartment sheet metal, someplace that would be easier to fill in the 9.3" gap with new metal. I would think that an engine/transmission/suspension tube cradle would need to be fabricated to support everything. I admit that I know next to nothing about Fiats and have never seen one in the wild.
