Thanks for the offer- I think I'll just do them all at once.... and I like the cool factor of the ARP's if for no other reason. I am shallow.

Also I like the way it sounds. Is there any cheaper car anyone knows of that would have the nippled version? Also, why does anyone want longer studs? Does it make mounting wheels easier/faster?Teh E36 M3 wrote: Dragging this one up as I am in need. I looked at the F-body studs, and they don't have the little "nipple" at the tip that the miata-specific ones do. Does that matter? The bump at the end is designed to make lugnuts less likely to cross-thread. Important if you're road racing with tire changing pitstops, but for general purpose use it's just a convenience. As for "cheap" and wheel studs -- clearly this isn't a place to skimp on quality, but anything OEM spec off a much heavier car (like an F-body) that's the right size ought to work just fine.
A: yes it makes swapping wheels easier
B: it allows the use of spacers without compromising the lug-nut/wheel stud connection ... (as in, not enough threads being used to be safe)

Did you ever get the RX7 studs or the F-body studs, I am currently looking for longer studs to use on my NA and I would like to know if either of these worked well for you, also would an FC RX7 studs work or is it a specific years? Same with the F body is it a specific year?
I can give some insight into this, but I can not directly answer your question...
I have used f body and longer stock type (arp) wheel studs on my fc rx7 racecar. Never had an issue with either.
Looking them up, the miata ones should be able to be used interchangeably.
