My buddy just got a screaming deal on a Legacy SUS that is in perfect condition to rallycross. We are taking about what tire to use for a couple of beginning rallycrossers in a stock car. Please advise.

Firestone Winterforce, or whatever used snows you can find until you develop your driving skills.

I really like the Mastercraft GlaserGrip  II

Thanks. Do you ever find yourself breaking off tread blocks?

Anything really. Just make sure the treads are close front to back and side to side. Until you try to win, why bother. To win you need skill, for skill you need practice. Practice until you get BORED, then increase the car.

Snows will chunk a bit in warm weather, but nothing terrible on most surfaces.
