Is there one, or am I going to have to just use the paint-stripper attachment for my drill?

I guess I should have given more background -- it's on the outside of a motorcycle gas tank, so the torch method may prove difficult. Can I heat around the area, will there be enough heat transfer underneath the filler, or will it just melt the tank sealer on the inside first?

You'll likley melt the linner, so in that case i'd toss the tank in an Electrolosis tank and remove both paint, bondo and liner then start from scratch.

4" angle grinder and an 80 grit flap wheel - and be careful, MC tanks, particularly newer ones are very thin.
