Okay kids - like the title says; did you pass on those new SS's when Chevrolet was offering discounts and now they look to be pushing $40k when you see a used one? Why not a used Chevrolet Caprice? Maybe with tax you can get this one for $11-$13,000?
Build the car for me and tell me what you would do to make it less of a cop car and more towards the SS you didn't buy. You know it has good bones with only 60,000 miles on the calibrated clock.
I will start the build:
1. Paint - gotta fix that white door.
2. Ditch the goofy spotlights - plug the holes.
3. What wheels can I get?

Personally i'd keep it just like it is, it's got a modern Blues Brother's vibe.. Wonder if it has a center console or just cop buckets?
I really shouldn't have clicked on that link.. Honestly the only thing i'd do is put carpet in it and figure out how to hide all those holes in the roof. I may be searching for flights to Chicago later this evening.

Wonder how hard it is to install a proper SS transmission and pedal box.

If carpet wasn't overrated, rubber floor mats wouldn't be a thing.

Last week they had a 2014 6.0 V8 with 6000 miles x $25,000. I considered it.....watch the V6 ones.
I'd look into how much it would cost to ship some aussie body parts over...
You the man - good eye. My '16 Silverado has approx 4800 engine hours and 148,000 miles. This is way over.
maybe the need a full, all out acceleration meter?

Wait till water gets underneath and rots the floor. Rubber don't breathe. I had a 9C1 that did exactly that.
