Some of the tools were in a parts car. Some were in the other parts car. Some were on the floor. Some were in my kids rooms. A couple in the tow ho. Some were in the basement. Some were in the junk drawer. Now I have nice full organized drawers again and can actually work on the work bench. Happiness. Next up is to 86 the parts cars.
What an excellent feeling. During race season I have a "goes to the track" small top chest that's filled from the behemoth bottom/mid/top/side chests, plus tools migrate into the machine shop/hobby shop/home improvement shop and from the machine to the garage.
So it's rare occurrence that everything is in the room/box/drawer it belongs in.
So you've earned a beer or 3.
Been there, done that! Not done yet either. I went from 6 to 31 ratchets in about 2 months of my roundup. And it is great fun to just sit at the workbench and reach for the tools to complete a project!
