My grandma had a Catalina. I cannot fathom how that started life as a one?

Man, what is wrong with me, I would rock that.

I can see that is Titanium and copper with some nice period correct rims. Oh and a 5 speed

Does the running board say "4-Play?"

It's not as gorgeous as a true "Excalibur," but I seem to recall a similar kit way back that was built on a bug body or something. This is much more... um.... "interpretive" than the Excalibur cars were.

Nice. I would buy that and put some spoked wheels with white-wall tires on it. And take that shower hose looking stuff off the headers.

Wow, done on an AMC Gremlin, that just oozes class.
Almost as classy as "4-Play."
Yes, this is an automotive sub-culture that I am not sure what to think about and certainly do not want to be a part of.

I am guessing they are talking about the early ones which were pretty quick.

I like that the cabin, doors and hardtop are stole from some poor spitfire.

The first gen Excalibur was a real performer. Yes it was a silly look-a-like, but it weighed about 2100 pounds and had 300 hp (gross, I'm sure)... in the mid-60's. That was some serious speed for the time.

I checked with the PO and he confirms that it says 4-Play on the running boards.
