Kind of lame but Mrs. preach and I are heading up to Club Motorsports for some Porsche Club parade laps on 7/23.
The Golf R will definitely be going, but providing I can get off my ass and find the time to do the brakes the Cayman will go too.
This will certainly fire me up to do some HPDE stuff when the Cayman is back to fighting weight.
That's a really good looking track, with the wall so close though it kind of reminds me of a slot car track. I wish it was closer.
Well that was fun and as an added bonus the $30 each we paid goes to Make-a-Wish Foundation. Overall it was great, I have been dying to get on that track and finally did.
As per my usual, I forgot to hit record on the GoPro on the bonus lap they gave a few of us with me leading. I was told to take one more but to catch up but we had a speed limit. I asked what it was and was told 60mph...dammit, we only were doing about 45 in the vid I recorded.
Amazing track, I look forward to hitting it with gusto one day.
