So my new project B14 200sx is getting sorted out and having received my extra nice vacation check the next item on the list is coilovers.
Despite the SE-Rs having a good following and enthusiastic owners the aftermarket fad for them has come and gone so my choices are fairly slim at this point
My previous one had Tein SS and frankly...money wasted. I ended up switching to CSKs with GC sleeves and enjoyed that better. The car will do occasional track days, some autocross, and drag on limited occasion, it will also perform a small portion of DD duties as I am not building a full on track car and I want to enjoy it for my short trips.
My current top contenders are Fortune Auto 510s or Feal 442. There is only one vendor that can get me 510s as they are special order through him. 442 come with Sprint Springs and 510s I would have to add them. I haven't driven on either and have been poring over reviews of both but there really aren't any comparisons between the two and my experience with either company is non existant at this point. If you need any other info let me know
Current suspension mods:
ES trailing arm, steering rack, front control arm, shifter bushings, prothane mounts, Progress front sway, white line rear sway, white line caster bushings etc. Rear beam bent at West Coast

Koni inserts and ground controls. I have had that set up on several different cars and they are a good option for what you are looking for.
I haven't owned a 200sx since 1998. I had eibach prokits and tokicos on it back then.
Feal and let him build/valve set them up for how you are going to use them. That's the only "budget" option I'd go with.
In reply to pimpm3 :
I had that setup however I want proper coils this time around. The shortened housings are no longer available and frankly that setup is 25 years old

I've got their budget "Goodwin-spec" 441 "race" versions on the Miata and am quite pleased, so I'll second the Feal recommendation. I've heard it said Fortunes and Feals are the east/ west coast versions of each other.
I've had them on the car about 4 months, daily the car, auto-x the car, and do occasional mountain runs, and I really like them.
I had Konis and sleeves before that, but when I went with wider wheels and wider stickier tires, I was at the limit of spring rate for the Konis. Feals at soft settings ride as well or slightly better than Konis at a lot more spring rate, so a good dp set up.
As luck would have it, the super cool FM Fox units went on sale a month or so after I got the Feals and would've been only $100 more. I'll never forgive Keith for that... ![cheeky cheeky](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png)
I happen to know the owner/driver of what must be the most successful 200SX autocross car in the country.
Call Andys Car and Truck Accessories in Lexington KY and ask for Andy. He's a curmudgeonly sort who has spent more time and effort on that stupid car than any sensible person should. He's also annoyingly fast in it.

There's a lot of surprisingly quick ones. My stolen one was 560hp with a junkyard SR with golden eagle headbolts lol. I've also spoken with Mike Kojima about it and he also likes Feal and MotoIQ did a feature on the 441s.
I have a feeling that they are about the same but I don't know for sure. Thanks for the lead as well sir
