Continuing the 3 spoke trend:
I'll take the classic BBS 3-pc wheels off a GTP car in silver/gold, with a side of turbine brake cooling for the front:
for reasons unknown to me ive always had a thing for old hurricane wheels. they may have been before the 80's though
Why, BMW throwing stars, of course.
As the former owner of a few E28's, the want was always so very strong.

Didn't something similar come stock on some 80s Camaros. Had a gold hue to them.
In addition to the Ronals, BBS and Lambo wheels above, I humbly submit;
Celica Supras, have been remade by Boyd Coddington
similar;
Starions, btw if anyone has 2 or 4 front starion wheels they would like to sell please let me know. I have a discount with UPS and can send a shipping label and paypal.
Late 90s but BMW M Parallels
It does not get any more '80s than Revolution RFXs on an MR2.
Maybe RFXs on a Jetta, but that's about it.
In reply to JG Pasterjak:
I think RFX's on a 2nd gen Prelude would rock the boat, too. The good thing is that I have six of the wheels and the car. The bad thing is that the wheels are 13 inchers and there is a dearth of performance tires in that diameter.

Here's the old black Celica with the black w/ blue rim 16x8 RP01 Special Editions.
SO GOOD.
Also: Gottis FOR SURE. And R9s.

Funny those would fit my Nissan nice probably, depending on offset, even as 16s.

Very. I want them. That car as well.
Probably more retro 60's or 70's, but I've always been very partial to the Minilite/Panasport look. These wheels are actually aftermarket Shelby's pulled off a Sunbeam Tiger. Unfortunately its getting harder to find performance tires for 13 x 6 or 13 x 7 rims, so eventually I'll likely have to upgrade to 15" rims.
Here you can see the 13 x 7 Panasports on the wife's green car.
I'm a fan of the Minilite/Panasport too. I have Minilites on the 'street' Jensen:
and a set of XXR 813's on the race car. I consider them more of a 70's design, though.
