More 70s than 80s I would say.
Ihad a Girlfriend with a nice X19 back when. She had awesome color matched Campagnolos on it. Great little car. Slow as a Spridget, but so much better handling ride and refinement.

4-Spoke Revolutions on an X1/9
and my old X1/9 with a set of ATS wheels. I also had a set of the black Revolutions for track wheels as above.
I think these were some of the best looking wheels from the late 90's

The 94-96 Impala SS wheels were nearly perfect.

Off topic, but cheap 3-spokes were the WORST wheels of the era IMHO
gotta be honest, i dig those
Shame these are only 14 inch...

i thought the 5 spoke Citation X-11 wheels i put on my Fiero looked cool, but I never took a picture.

NOT cool:

They made the same basic style in a two spoke version, it was horrific. I can't find a pic of the wheel by itself on the int3rw3btoobz at the moment, but a guy on 'Counting Cars' had a set on a 1956 Chevy.

Bleagh.

I love the Revolutions too but like the Minilite to me they are more 1970's. In fact, a 15" repro in the correct bolt circle for the J-H was just released a year or two ago and yeah I thought hard about it.

OZ Monte Carlos look good on everything:

Sesto showed a sweet Dymag. I'm lucky enough to have a set of Gen IVs. They are thin on the ground and I couldn't replace them if anything happened:

Enkei Shogun. Not a ton of cars they look great on, but the SVX is one of them. Waiting for it to get warmer so I can refinish my set.

DP Enduros. I have had these wheels for almost 20 years and they have been on countless different vehicles.

I like. I'm guessing these are throwback GTI wheels or something. I would like this on many cars.

these were the rims I put on my 99 Tiburon.. the Enkei RPO1
I had some 18s of those on my old Dodge Avenger i was building up. I had already done all the bodywork and paint and put the enkeis on with brand-new (at that time!) Kumho MX and was about to bolt on a full coilover setup (and progress to the engine) when i 'lost' it in a breakup.

I love Torque Thrusts on vintage american cars, like Malibus, Novas, GTOs, etc. I wonder how they would look on one of those. Maybe not as good as newer 5 spoke designs.

MK2 VW Teardrops or Snowflakes get my vote.
