I'm interested in taking a driving course that's vehicle dynamics focused. Not really trying to get on the track and run laps just yet, more so looking to learn about proper car control and handling first. So I'd prefer a course for novices, but nothing too simple or geared towards kids.
I'm going to do some googling but it's always nice to hear first hand experiences and suggestions as well. I'm in western PA but I can probably travel to Ohio or WV for this. DC/Virginia area may be doable as well if there's anything that way.
thanks
Maybe one of the Evolution schools would work for you. Here's a link to their site.

Have you checked with the track right near you? Pittsburgh race complex
If you are going to do the Evolution driving school, you might as well sign up for the SCCA starting line program. For an extra $65 over the school in and of itself, you get a 1 year SCCA membership, an autocross entry voucher, a ProSolo entry voucher and a 1 year subscription to GRM. For an additional $70, they'll throw in an open face helmet.
