Because Fiat?

It was carefully restored to factory condition...including the period-correct rust

Cut out bent stuff, weld in not-bent stuff, have tech guy look at it. Nothing to it! My old RX7 had a similar repair, a straight roof from a donor car was welded on and it was good to go.

Seller says the cage appears to be not bent.... Hmmm its cheap ish
And the off @10:23

Looks pretty soft, as rolls go. Depends how confident you are in your bodywork skills, but I would bet the cage is fine. Did something break or did he just lock up the wheels for that terminal understeer?
In reply to ¯_(ツ)_/¯:
Its a race car, my body works skill can handle ugly race car (maybe?). Im more worried about tweaked suspension pickups etc. Lots of 90's Honda's to get body bits from.
Looked like he locked up in under-steer to me. Too fast coming into the corner.
Asking $1750

Ugh! I don't have anywhere to put it at the moment! Garage is packed due to RV project.... I looked thru his old build thread. Diy cage, nothing but suspension done really. He said the floor pan where the rear pickup for the front suspension is got beat, they hammered it back out
If it had half the mileage I'd be sold. Hard finding clean w140 cars these days. W140 s600
Ran across this today. I've never seen one before, and man is at cool. At $2300, a new set of wheels and a deep clean would make just an awesome cruiser.
No rhyme or reason why, but this really speaks to me. Only a million miles old. I don't even know how to use the 15 speed in it, but I want it.

He put some serious effort into that thing. I like most of it.

It all works for me except the square headlights:
There has been an irrational increase in the number of 4.3/5Spd S-dimes on the cinci list of craigs lately
95 Rice-rod with horrific wheels- $1500
Probably my favorite - 1st gen S10 - lowered and pretty straight - $1600
Not a 4.3, but a fairly straight and clean 1st gen - $1500
