Craigslist lust of the day.

I'm seriously lusting after this Jetta-nose GTI for my DD. High miles, but looks halfway decent.

They worked really hard in both ads to leave out the fact that it's an automatic trans....

We have been talking about moving in together, her dad bought her brother and his fiancee a house, I wasn't planning this soon but Bob Damn is it worth thinking about

Dreaming of a 3 door Suburban. Hoping to be in a position to start a "build" on one end of 2020 or early 2021, and this is how I would spec one (but with smaller tires). Not a bad price at all, either.

4x4, 4 speed Manual, 3/4 Ton 1970 Suburban with Barn doors..

And apparently not the only one; he refers to building a diesel one and in the background you can see at least three more Smart cars. I guess they could've been bought in different ways but the way he phrased the diesel build seems like he started with a new shell.

Should have bought mine when I had it listed here for $2K

1966 Comet, less than 10 miles from my house, runs drives bring trailer ad says, $1500.

With the right engine under the hood (if its the 289 or 390) this might be a good Challenge car. If its the 6 cylinder, not so much.

Edit - Seller got back to me. 6 cylinder 3 speed on the tree, no title, Bill of sale only.

It's sad because I really would like that Comet but not for $1500. 

My second car was a 62 comet, 3 on the floor, 289. That was a fun car with a lot of potential. I sold it because I was tired of it being broken in my college dorm parking lot. I love the Mercury siblings from that era.

Aftermarket grill? The black goes a long way in hiding the styling "elements" on these.

I think this would make a decent Uber/Lyft vehicle. Look at the rear seat room!
