Crazy idea #10236: Build a Panther-chero?

Thanks. Panthers are cheap here. Panthers are pretty cool. Rancheros are very expensive, but cooler.

If someone has done this, my google-fu has failed me.

Tell me why this is a bad idea.

Here is Las Vegas. Craigslist has two dozen Panthers under $2k at any given moment.
