There was some chatter a while back about CycleKarts for this year's challenge?
Is anyone bringing or currently building one?

2019 sounds good to me! I am not currently building one but would love to. My son will be 4 this year so 5-15 seems like a good age for cyclecart building with Dad.
Two bikes plus small horizontal shaft engine and some sheet metal designed to look like early racecars.
Basically, they are really classy looking go carts. I think some places have races for them, and then the rules that go along with those races.
For me, it would be all about learning how to do the sheet metal forming to make the shell look how I want. Simple shapes, but still needs to be done well.

I could see a few different ways:
1. Run a cycle cart class. Maybe crib the rules from a dedicated race series, let folks go crazy with $219 or something. Run all three events (albeit maybe a bit separate - instead of drag could do like a top speed on a large skidpad sort of thing).
2. Run a side event for cyclecarts, maybe a bit like vavle cover racing. Take 20 minutes at the end of autox to let the cyclecarts go at it.
3. Use cyclecarts for b double e double r u ns?
