The tokico blues on my daily Yaris are starting to see better days after about 130k.  They are still firm but during any real bump they are starting to crash a bit.

As much as Id love to run coilovers I gotta keep this budget.  It is on 2" drop springs with upgraded progressive bumpstops.

I can get another set of Tokico blues from a friend but I think I want something just a touch softer.  The TB tend to be firm on the very light stuff making my titties jiggle...and Im a man.

I can get b6 or b8 bilsteins but afraid they would be more or less the same as the TB.

I can run Scion xD replacement dampers.  They are a direct interchange but do have their own p/n so maybe the valving could be firmer then Yaris stuff (they weigh more or less the same).  The rear dampers are a little shorter which could work well with my drop.

However I do see the Gabriels listed for the Yaris with shorter dimensions then anything else for the front, either thats potentially a win or misinformation.

The car is not for competition per say but I do run the nuts off of it

I read this totally wrong as daily diaper selection.  I was very disappointed on entering.

I'd go Koni, if available for your application.

As you observed, Bilsteins are not the  damper you seek.

Second vote for Konis if they're available. I put Koni FSD shocks on my MINI and the ride was so much smoother.

Unfortunately no Konis for my generation.
