So we were out in the Gallardo one starry evening and..... Oh dang, I woke up. On a more serious note the girl is a driver to be sure. I hope she kicks very much booty on sunday.

I for one would very much like to see her do well against the raging A-hole prima donnas that make up the majority of NASCAR drivers, but I really don't think it's going to happen.
I'd love to see here win the Nationwide .... if for no other reason than to get all the haters posting again .... especially about how much better a driver they are than she is
on another forum, someone started a post by saying "Danica's on Pole"
someone replied "whose pole...?"
HAHAHAHAHA
Maybe she'd be easier to take seriously if every Nascrap program and race wasn't 75% Danica content. Even buying (big sponsor $$$) the best ride available doesn't always translate into good finishes. Regardless, it takes some talent, along with a good team effort, to win a pole. To run the whole race and be around at the finish, also adds luck to the equation. That's just the way it is. If only the media would treat her like any other racer and Nascar wasn't like WWF, but it is what it is.

In a related note, I just found out that Milka is giving up indy and moving in with some dude in Central FL because she's really excited about his rusty datsuns, scrapped appliances and $2012 race cars.

FTFY
The fastest natural driver's I've ever met were women. They didn't race though, it's a boys sport.
The best engineering student I've ever met was a woman. She was the only woman in my class, because it's a man's career.
I don't care if Danica is over hyped. Half the worlds population needs to see that there is a place in motorsports for them.
Michèle Mouton, anyone?

...and Ashley Force

I don't disagree with you. Women have several advantages over men.. naturally higher endurance, better tolerance to pain, and they are generally lighter and smaller
Danica is what she is because of one thing.........
you can have all the wet dreams you want... but she is a racer... and like all racers... some people think they are GODS... and others the exact opposite.
And to taking the pole @ Daytona for ANY NASCRAP series.... that is an accomplishment... because the cars are so simiar (as is always complained here LOUDLY) that driver capability does come into account far more here then many other forms of motorsport where there is OBVIOUS tiers of competitors

Truth!
And as far as the media only talking about her. I am watching the pre-race show for the Nationwide race and so far they gave her about 3 minutes of time, everything else is about the team changes.
To the people that hate her- She's a hot chick that can drive a race car. Honestly, if the whole field of 43 drivers were hot chicks, it might actually be worth watching. Would you rather be looking at Kyle Busch's Alfred-E-Newman-looking mug instead? Hell, I wish Ashley Force would drive NASCAR. Maybe Ashley and Danica could get in an oil-covered wrestling match in the pits to settle an on-track mishap?
