Datsun. Box Flares. Craigslist.
What should be 3 of my favorite thing did not yield the results I had hoped for.
I've seen worse. The price is crack pipey for sure, but there is potential there.
I saw the Autobot emblem on the nose, is it a replica if a gen 1 Transformer? If so, it's kind of hard to hate on that.

I was thinking something similar. Here's what appears to be the same body kit on a vintage racer: https://www.flickr.com/photos/27666849@N04/6238605045

There was a transformer of the original race car that had this body kit:
California is chocked full of terribly disfigured Z-cars, 510s, 240sxs, 914s and what have you. You midwesterners should start a charity: "save the cars" and nurse some of these wretched creatures back to productive lives.
As a z fanatic there's a lot wrong here. First off, it's a ZX, not a true Z (huge difference in suspension and chassis!) As mentioned, the melted tach. (How does that happen?), the "extra" naca duct is asymmetric...
This is a car with potential. Not worth five K's unless you feel like saving that wide body kit. And I guarantee it has a rusted battery tray. The s130 chassis isn't awful, just not as good as its predecessor. The suspension was from the BarcaLounger 810.
That reminds me a lot of the Electromotive cars.
I can't see how this isn't worth $5k unless Z-cars have seriously depreciated in the last few years, even with the body kit of questionable taste.
"I was told the motor had a noise so I have never tried to start it." And a Salvage Title to boot? Pass.
Clean title, and running I would consider it at that price. Virgin Z's often pull more for a streetable car locally though, so who knows.
For some reason the hood pins at the front of the hood bug me more than the Autobot sticker, melted tach, and blue painted interior pieces.
