I saw somewhere the suggestion that INDY should switch to the deltawing. I'd love to see it.

The Delta Wing was proposed and rejected by Indycar for the last redesign a year or two ago.

Don't think that will help it make up the 10 secs. to the Audi... Or even the 5 secs. to the slowest LMP1 Lola.

They're doing it due to LeMans regulations.......they're requiring all closed cockpit cars

That's really gonna hurt aerodynamics which was one of its strong points.

It's also going to have a different engine than last year.

I dunno, it'll have a bit more frontal area but it'll be a whole lot cleaner.

The new metallic surface treatment seems entirely appropriate to the new shape. Now I just see it as aluminum panels...hand beaten...with an ugly stick.

All I can think of is the ambiguously gay duo.

Maybe some day an old one will be turned into a LeMons car and the team can go with an AGD theme.

I'll be the lone dissenter and say I kinda like it.

I don't seeing it hurting aero, I see it improving aero at speed.

Silver is definitely better than flat black but I think a bright red or yellow would be better yet.

I'm betting they'd paint it and let Danica drive it if it meant GoDaddy sponsor money.

A lot more frontal area, but it looks like the air flow should be a lot cleaner around the cockpit.

I still think they should paint the damn thing neon yellow or orange after last year.
