I saw that. Gripping drama. Seems like she does do some sort of government contract work, but whether she is an assassin seems debatable.

I applaud Kurt Busch for this whole thing. It's the first time nascar has been interesting in quite some time.

I first read about it yesterday when I saw a link to a story posted in this thread: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/the-moron-of-the-week-thread/90741/page2/

Either he's a bit off or he has been handed a bad script to read.

He sure doesn't seem to fear her nearly as much as he should...You know, if she really is a super bad-ass international assassin and stuff. LOL

This chick runs a company called 'Frontline Defense Systems LLC'?

'Busch offered up specific examples of her returning from missions, sometimes with bruises. Once, he said, they were in El Paso, Texas, where Driscoll had left that night in camouflage and boots. She returned later to the hotel at which he was staying wearing a trench coat. Under it she was wearing an evening gown splattered with blood and other matter, Busch testified. Neither Driscoll nor her attorney refuted the claims during the hearing.'

Anyway, when asked for comment Busch said, "It's creepy! Every time I race I'm sure that people are following me."

Driscoll is an executive for a small Washington, D.C.-based defense consulting firm and president of the Armed Forces Foundation, a nonprofit for veterans. The couple met at a foundation dinner in 2011, and after hitting it off, Busch became a spokesman and ambassador for the foundation. The group severed its ties with Busch after Driscoll's allegations.

I can't believe I'm giving any credence to this, but why should he be afraid. If anything ever happens to him after he's said this so publicly, she, her company and all her associates will come under very very close scrutiny.

Interesting that she's denying it out of court, but not in court.

So Kurt's ex is today's Chuck Barris? http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20139016,00.html

For those who forgot, he was the host of The Gong Show, and claimed to be a spy/assasin in his book Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Which was made into a movie.

In reply to Curmudgeon:

If you think he's got a crazy ex, you should see hers!

.

In reply to Adrian_Thompson:

That was a joke...But realistically, he wasn't doing so before hand either. If she really is what he says she is, coming home bruised and bloodied from physical combat in which she was presumably the living victor, I seriously doubt if he would have willingly chosen to get into any kind of physical altercation with her in his motorhome before kicking off this 3-ring circus.

Frontline! Yes great stuff it protects my dogs from tics, fleas, & heartworm!

As to the "every time I race I'm sure people are following me." There had better be people following him if his is to be a successful racer!

I'm not saying what she does or doesn't do, but I've meet them both a few times karting at a local spot and at summit point, primarily during the week. I will say this though, she spends more time out at summit on the DoD side of things then most, she splits time at the range on and track as well when not within the DoD confined zones.

Regarding the 2 of them, I'd sad to see that things didn't work out and went south in a bad way. They're both likeable people. Furthermore someone's job function and physical abilities does not dictate whether or not they're capable of being assaulted. This goes for being a covert commando for a government contractor and for being a professional athlete.

A four day hearing of tinfoil hattery and nobody (looking at Stewart-Haas) told Kurt to just STFU?? Maybe S-H wants outta the contract. Driscoll could be a plant by Harvick and/ or Keselowski or the media or officials. Geezus, he had a lotta feuds.

My understanding is that Tony never wanted to hire him, that it was essentially all Gene Haas.

And in all fairness, how many people who have ever met Kurt Busch didn't end up trying to kill him?
