Sold at $6450. Talk about a rare car; I never knew any were ever imported. If it wasn't for the automatic, I'd love to have it as a Skyline alternative.

That one's a RHD so it's a JDM yO car, IIRC it was never made in a LHD version and was also sold in Australia etc. A few have made it here to the Great Satan via unorthodox channels, also when you eBay search JDM 20B's that's the car they come from.

A couple years ago, I saw a black RHD 3rd gen RX7 with fender mirrors in upstate SC.

I've seen a couple in Canada but they have all been the cheaper turbo 13B like the Rx-7 of the period. I believe they are all automatic but perhaps could be converted with Rx-7 bits. They have a fantastic interior.

They weren't sold in Australia but quite a number where imported under now removed clauses that were extensively used in the 90's. Many people started small businesses importing Japanese cars that weren't released there, ie: Nissan GTR, Nissan GTiR, Nissan GTS, Oddly a lot of 3rd Gen RX7s (odd because they were imported by Mazda), Cosmos and much more.
