Just got the email. Don't know if this is a good or bad thing. All my dealings with DIY in the past have been fantastic. Here is hoping that continues.

Exciting news! DIYAutoTune and AMPEFI have a new owner, EFI Innovations, Inc.
DIYAutoTune/AMPEFI founder Jerry Hoffmann expresses his heartfelt appreciation for your support throughout the years. The DIYAutoTune/AMPEFI community has been like a family and we’re all excited to see what the future holds under the new leadership. The best is yet to come!
Thank you. I mean it. The Best is yet to come.

It's been a few years, but I've had great transactions with diyautotune. At least one of their people is on here, I believe. (Matt?)
I think it will be a good thing for DIY. Disclaimer, I do work there, so I hope it is good.

Saw the email and had the same sentiment.
I hope this is good for them as well. I've got a few of their products in both my cars and have never had a bad dealing with them.
Had to look up the new company. It seems like a good fit being that they produce a digital dash for MS euipped cars.
DD-EFI has come up nicely and wish those guys the best of luck moving DIY forward. Patiently waiting for MS4
In reply to Paul_VR6 (Forum Supporter) :
What would a theoretical MS4 do that MS3 does not? Integrated wideband would be nice, integrated drive by wire may carry liability problems though.

Integrated DBW would indeed be nice but my first thoughts were DI and hybrid powertrain support

They have my list at least one dbw two would be nice, one on board LSU two would be nice, two can channels, user programmable table mapping (4th axis) for fuel ignition afr, higher stepper current for haldex direct control, few more VR inputs for wheel speed, faster loop time...

Direct injection carries so many difficulties that I can't see it being a standalone operation, given that its operation is dependent on things like cam timing to function properly. Like, if your cam timing is 10 degrees off from commanded, you will have fuel pressure issues.
Even tuning stock ecus di is really really weird.
