I'm sure some folks here have done their own exhaust manifold porting. Do you have any pictures of your work? What tools and techniques did you use?

I use long shank carbides with a quick high grit paper to finish.

interesting subject;porting and polishing! question came up on another forum, how much increase % wise,would P/Ping a stock engine, no other mods?

it doesn't work like that.

Porting a rotary can mean a 100% increase in power.

I used a angle grinder with carbide burrs for iron, for aluminum I'd start with burrs and move to a series of sandpaper rolls, flap paddles, and sand paper.
I also got a pencil-type grinder, similar to a dremmel but air powered.
