Anyone have a recommentation of what 2-part Urethane/Duromater to use? My old rubber mounts are gone allowing the Axle Boot to rub and has broke the Clamp holding the boot on as well. Thanks in advance!

On that motor... i wouldn't go any lower than 80.

You know what, i forgot to grab those bushings for you. I'm sending you a message with my phone number. You'll have to remind me via text or something since i apparently suck at this.

I filled my side mounts with 88a i think, and my front and rear mounts are 95a. It's not bad. Yeah there's a couple rattles from my interior at stoplights, but overall it's pretty decent.

I'm guessing he's talking about the F2T, and the key is to get them as hard as you can possibly stand, otherwise the motor just flings itself around the engine bay because lots of torque.

Between this thread and the last thread, under my car last weekend I was looking at all sorts of rubber mounts and seeing which ones had holes that could be filled in.

Whats the deal with doing this to lower control arm bushings?

is that good? bad?

I think it would likely be ok, just that they are thinner than motor mounts, so getting everything aligned would be more difficult.

maybe I should have bumped the other thread, since this isnt really a DIY mount from scratch idea, but more like the existing mount is the one with 3 or 4 holes in it allowing it to flex, this was just to fill in the holes so to speak.

Mine arent disentigrating and failing completely, but they do have 60k miles on them, on a lowered car, the surface of the rubber is starting to show very tiny cracks, but arent splitting or anything. Its a hyundai, so, you know, zippy aftermarket.

How you like that thread jack?

No readily avaliable replacements for the MX-3 either...ZX2 Escort units work for the rear Trailing Arms, and hopefully I'm about to make a replacement unit for the Toe Adjustment Arm on the rear, which is flimsy.... Flimsy is no good for Autocross....

Am I the only one who was thinking this was about a Poly 318?
