Particularly, the kind for a rivnut. I got the cheapo, but it did come with rivnuts.
I didn't know NAPA carried those. I have been buying them from McMaster. They work fine with my HF rivnut-like tool. Or are you talking about pop rivets? They all work fine with my HF riveter tools, including the air-over-hydraulic one, which is like the second best invention ever. I used a bunch of stainless pop rivets with that one putting the Locost together. As long as the shaft size will fit in the snout, you're good to go.
Yeah the one I have is a regular “yellow handle” pop riveter. So the mandrel changes what rivet types you can do, and to change Mandrels you have to thread on onto that shaft.
So, are the mandrels fairly universal thread wise? They sell rivnuts at Home Depot. But not HF...
