It looks like due to some bad planning at my end and an unexpected additional vacation time taken due to my uncle passing, I probably won't make my cross-country trip to run Laguna Seca this year.

I saw that TNIA has three dates in Daytona this year and I've wanted to do some sort of track day there for a while. Does anyone know which track configuration they're usually running there for TNIA because of course this guy would like to run a track configuration that includes the banking?

And yes, we're watching the Rolex 24 atm...

Not using the banking results in a track about 1 mile long, which severely limits the cars on track at one time.  Every TNIA I've heard about there uses the full 24hr course.

That sounds like the configuration I was hoping for.

Yes TNiA uses the full 24hr configuration. Really the biggest difference is you'll also get a checker at T6 so they can clear the track and recycle the next group quicker.

That's great news, although given my special skill of having something go kaboom that never goes wrong, I'm a tad concerned about the "recycling" part .
