Don't have that issue. 1st she is barely 5', Can't see out of my truck let alone reach the pedals. 2nd she refuses to learn to drive a manual so that leaves out the fun cars. 3rd she learned to drive after coming to the states and is used to driving a small or mid-size sedan. Refuses to even drive a small SUV. They are just basic transportation to her, disposable at that.
My wife cannot drive a manual so no issue yet. She tells me would take my NB if she could drive it, so we are working on that.
But before I converted the fox body to a manual, she drove it every chance she had.
Nope, she hates the Miata, maybe because I got that instead of the yellow Boxster or S2000. It rides too rough too. She hates the 914 also. I got the orange, rust free '74 2.0 instead of the green, rusty '71 1.7. She can't believe I bought an orange car.

She drives a pretty nice 2007 Odyssey. I drive a very old, worn, noisy, ugly 98 Saturn.
No, she doesn't like to drive my car. I still do though, because I hate sitting up high.
Not at all, she knows i have an emotional attatchment too it and shes afraid with her driving record she may smash it. She loved my marquis and my 500 dollar foxbody mustang.
My wife hates the stick in my BMW X5. she does like to take the new to me 2014 Acura TL I just got though.
We have very similar vehicles. So during the week whoever is going out first takes the one parked under the carport. Next person out gets the one in the garage. On the weekends I take the Outback and she gets the Legacy.
Only vehicle I have had that she preferred over her car was the Transit Connect. Small, maneuverable, easy to see out of, and easy to find in the mall parking lot.
My wife has no interest in driving any of my cars. She hates manual transmissions, so that rules out the Miata and the RX-7, the truck is a serious PITA to park anywhere (3/4 ton crew cab), and she's not comfortable driving the Audi (not sure why). She'd much rather drive her CX-9.
My wife steals the Crown Vic when she want's to haul grandkids. She steals the Cherokee when she want's to haul everything else. My children have been know to steal them when necessary as well. Since I don't drive them during the week, it's not a problem as long as they are clean, have gas in them and are in the yard, when I need them.
All 3 of the currently driveable vehicles in our yard are mine. I let my husband daily the B2200 while his Mazda3 is getting a rebuilt transmission installed. I daily the 4Runner, and the Valamino doesn't have plates yet so I don't drive it much.
Wife claims she can't drive stick, even though she's perfectly capable, so that leaves her the one automatic in our fleet.
Ex-Wife stole my Dodge Magnum. I knew it made her happy so i let her DD it until it was completely destroyed. I have some regrets about that!
Girlfriend generally likes my cars. I taught her how to drive stick on my Montero. She wants to drive my 911, but i keep telling her she's not ready with her manual skills. She wants to drive my SRT4 minivan which is auto, but i just don't want to take the chance of anyone but me being the one to damage it. She's very enthusiastic about her ZQ8 S10 so luckily I don't have to be the jerk who denies her car fun, she just has her own.
I'm sure she'd like to drive my Expedition, and I wouldn't mind, but with a 13" height differential between us and a non-functioning power driver's seat, it just ain't happening.
We pretty much share all the cars, but she definitely considers the WRX "hers" if that tells you anything.
My wife has rudimentary manual skills, but luckily, my clutch is way too hard for her crappy left knee to be able to operate. She's not too big on "driver skills", so I'd be worried if she decided to "punch it" and unleash 400 whp in a Fairmont chassis without full knowledge of what might (would) happen in the immediate future, and have the ability to counter automatically. It's actually pretty docile when operated within a narrow range, but if you get outside of that, it's like it actively wants you to die.
Fortunately, she's real happy with her '14 Impala, so she doesn't even think about it.
My wife and I talked more about this topic today. Her favorite was the 911, natch. She also liked the M3 and the Miata. Dislikes were both the '97 Mustang Cobra and '14 Mustang GT - too high school.
She was also not a fan of the '98 240SX. Does not like the '07 GTI - ugly, not a grown up car. Whatever that means.
She liked her Jeep Commander, she sometimes misses her BMW X5, although she didn't mention that car during our discussion today (I don't - lots of experience with window regulator and door lock actuator replacement in that thing).
I have suggested that since she is a Porsche snob (my fault) she might want a Macan or Cayenne once we pass her current CR-V on to my son when he starts to drive.
My wife hated the Spec V because it was loud, twitchy and had ridiculous amounts of torque steer. Realistically, with the foamechtomy, she's too short for the Miata. All of my other cars have been beaters that I don't even want to drive.
My '97 M3/4/5 was the only car my wife actually wanted to drive. She liked the power. She did not like to drive the Miata, mr2 and never the Civic si. Now, I have inherited her Prius.
