This is what would happen if Porsche NA were based in North Carolina and was headed by a NASCAR fan.
Also, if you look up "trailing throttle oversteer", there's a picture of this car.
I like it.
I doubt that motor weights much more than the original and the cost per hp ratio favors the LS motors significantly.

The video description says the LSx is actually lighter. No numbers provided though.

The LSx is lighter than every other production engine in the land of no data and rainbows.
In the real world it's 135 lbs (plus coolant) heavier: http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/engineweights.html

I've added that to my other link for that data (which appears to actually be the same list, though attributed to different people and possibly with some differences: http://www.bacomatic.org/~dw/library/txt/engfyi.htm). Unfortunately, I'd take everything on that list with an entire saltshaker... They've got an M52 Small Six down as a BMW Big Six with incorrect displacement, the M60 Big Six as a Small Six AND a V8...
They have a list of attributions, but the only data I know anything about appears to be hosed...
Choosing between no data and bad data sucks...
