My mechanical catch up maintenance is now done. I want to try my hand at tweaking the uneven hood and trunklid gaps that seem to have come from 13 years of being opened and closed. Are there any tricks to getting things to line up better, or is it a learn by doing/trial and error kind of thing? Seems like its really easy to accidentally make things worse. Interestingly, the e46 specific forums seem to be totally silent on this topic...
