I'd trade you the shell of SFO's blue n/a for your 944T.....I doubt he'd be too upset.
Nah, I met that guy, he's crazy and I'd hate to hear all about the things he didn't like about the car
Plus you know, I kinda would like something I could drive to and from work.
It doesn't weigh much right now. You could flinstone it pretty easily.

Not suede and no dish, but I've got a Momo Prototipo that's essentially new in the box. I bought it for $230, installed it in my 911, drove a lap around the neighborhood and decided that it's not what I wanted and removed it. I'd take $200 shipped. It has the Momo button, not a Porsche one like the one in the photo.
What car is that Woody? Looks awesome!
That would be an air-cooled 911, i do believe.

Flintstone it out here to the West Coast and we'll talk
Well I never imagined this much conversation.
Woody, the wheel is awesome and I'm glad I've sent you down a rabbit hole. If it's still there in a few weeks I may well be interested, but I've been promised a swift kick in the nuts if I spend money on 'a fashion accessory' before the car is up and running with new shocks.
No this threat has not come from SWMBO but instead a fellow forum member who it must be said does have a point!

It's a piece of safety equipment.

Yes, it's an air cooled 911, but not mine. Mine looks similar, except it has nicer floor mats and no tacky aftermarket stereo.

This needs to be on the front page of the magazine...
Eventually I'll be doing an m3 wheel swap so I can keep my airbag for inspection purposes. Wouldn't do a cheapo ebay wheel though
In reply to Adrian_Thompson: Make sure you get a steering wheel that is smaller in diameter to the original one, and then it's a performance part. I bought a different Ebay steering wheel, and the cloth padding is separating after only being in the car for a year or so. I will try to load a pic soon. It's bad, but it would be terrible if the dash was a good one.
I found a N.O.S. Momo Monte Carlo, 320mm wheel with red stitching on Ebay for ~$100 a long time ago... brand new and have yet to use it on any vehicle other than test fitting in an old civic. I might be willing to part with it...was really thinking of using it on the FR-S but probably shouldn't be getting rid of the airbags... the stock wheel is really not that bad but the 320mm would make the steering quicker and better for me along with more leg room. Oh the decisions...

Momo is the way to go for aftermarket steering wheels, better than Sparco to me because of the nice fat grip profile that works great.
