Nice score! Those are just rebranded Aeromotive A1000 pumps. I have one of those CarTech pumps I bought from a guy years ago as a DOA. Shipped it back to Aeromotive with $80 to rebuild it and it's good as new.

I wasn't using the 50% recoup rule... he paid $121.01 for two of them. Each was $60.51.

If i've read the rules wrong this whole time and you can recoup like that, then i probably should have been in the $1000 or under class this past year, AND i have a ton more budget room than i thought for $2014.

Like... Megasquirt and built bottom end budget room.

You know the rules better than myself, though. I can only be happy if i've been screwing myself this whole time.

I was informed off the site that yes, i was doing it wrong the whole time, effectively screwing myself.
