This Conquest Esi in purple lives 3 streets away in my neighborhood. I fawn over it every day when I drive by. Now it's for sale and my Miata is acting up (again). Why do I have the feeling I'll be in the doghouse tonight?

I love the way those look but I have to think that it is not possible for an 80s turbo car to be more reliable than a Miata. Perhaps you should LS swap it just to be safe.

OMG, LS1 Starquest? In Purple?!?!? I need a minute alone...

Take as long as you need, as long as you end up with a Purple Starquest with period Supra rims

Just try not to kill this one too. Your recent record has been less than stellar.
That dash is pure '80s trontasticness.
Here's one near DC for $1500 http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/2171970405.html
I'd rock that just the way it is, or if I HAD to do an engine swap, I'd go 4G63T. Either way, buying the Conquest would (slightly) make up for you selling the FB.

Nickname suggestion: Purple Reign (see what I did there?)

I've driven my Starion only 3 times since I bought it last month & than lost it somewhere under the snow in my driveway. But I agree with this statement after driving a slightly modified NA for 3 years. The Starion has more "cool" factor.
And to the OP "GET IT"
it is for this very reason I stopped looking at Craigslist.
Just today I saw a CRX (unmolested) and a 73 Camaro (rust free). I had to turn away, I had to.
I have stopped looking, honest I have......

I call BS!
I stopped looking too but than I had to help find Granny a car, which didn't help my addiction one bit.

Start helping others find cars, it's even more fun because you don't have to live with the consequences...
It even comes with box flares.
Crap, I want one of those to rallycross in now.
Oh, Dinan E36 M3. There's one for sale in easy driving distance.

Pretty much sums it up. I'll gladly volunteer to stand in the nut-kicking line. DEW-EEEEEET!!!
I think the color is called "Durban Maroon," and I've never seen one I think it looks dead sexy on that car. Throw on some gold mesh wheels, crank up "Rasberry Beret" and throw your middle finger out the window, knowing your a berkeleying man, by God. My brother had them in Blue, White, Red, and Black.
