I need to remove some for-year-old fuel from The fuel tank of a 1999 yard. Does anyone know the diameter of the fuel line bung where it exits the tank, and which bung actually outputs fuel?

They're 5/16" lines IIRC. I don't have one in front of me, but I think the feed is the one that comes out the center of the plate. Easy enough to find out.
I usually drain from the engine bay. Just pop off the fuel line (there's only one there on an NB) and jumper the fuel pump in the diagnostic box.
Thanks! From the engine bay would be easy with a lift, but on the ground, I can’t figure out how to easily, especially since the tank is mostly full. The fitting is too big to fit normal hoses, I have the rear torn apart (long story involving lending the pump relay out and forgetting about it)... so it’s easy enough to attach hose in the vehicle. Just have to dispose of ~10 gallons of old fuel, and the mower only uses a gallon every 4 months...
From the engine bay is really easy without a lift. All the fuel lines are right there looking at you.
The NB uses quick disconnect hose fittings. It's not a barb.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
I see the one fuel line (with the quick disconnect, I even have the right tool), but what is then available is rather large to slip a hose over so that I could properly direct fuel into a gas can. I can’t get a decent sized funnel into that area either, unless I start pulling the accessories off. Unless you have some super awesome trick.
This is one of those things that I never remember because it doesn't seem all that challenging when I go to do it, so I don't recall the solution.
You can pop the fuel line off the dampers attached to the frame rail. You can fit a hose over that, we used to do it years ago on some of our old kits (yes, bad idea, I know). I don't recall exactly what size you need - I don't think you have to go up to 3/8", but possibly. It doesn't have to hold pressure.
