Factory "Super Six" two barrel manifold and carb off a late '70's anything (but usually a Volare or Aspen) will bolt on and give you better power and better fuel economy than the factory 1bbl or a 390 Holley.

True, just have to track one down. Found a couple on message boards for about $350+ shipping and needing the carb rebuilt. Which may still be a good choice, but I may have exceeded my approved spending for the month. Unless someone here has some parts lying around...
May have a line on a reasonably priced cable linkage from a ‘65 valiant to take it back to stock in the meantime. Need to evaluate the old carb tonight and determine if I believe the P.O., who says it ran fine
